January 23 - Fancy!

I got invited to a super fancy dinner with the president of the College, the Board of Visitors and a whole bunch of other important people that will take place on February 7th.  Boyfriend gets to come with me!  Before the dinner, we get to go to a reception at the College's art museum to see a preview of a special Michelangelo exhibit.  Woot!

So anyway, today I ate some cookies after dinner.  Not a good choice, but I exercised today and I didn't eat much lunch so I had some room for the indulgence.  I also have to stay up until 2 AM with my library job so I told myself I "needed" the energy.  Back to the point - I wanted to eat more cookies, but then my RSVP went through and I thought "I want to look nice and feel good at the fancy dinner."  So I didn't have any more cookies.

  1. It's great to have something to look forward to and motivate you!

I can't imagine what it's like keeping such unusual hours. It must play havoc with your routines!!!

    1. I agree - I'm excited for the dinner. I think it helps that it isn't months away, too - sometimes a very far away thing can seem like I have so much time to get ready and then I don't do anything to change.

And YES - my schedule is as such: "HANG IN THERE"
